All y'all --

Tomorrow (Jan 12) at 6:30 pm in the LBC upstairs. It will be social
too, not all biz-n-ed, of course; how could homebrewers not be social!
Business and education are a primary focus, but probably nobody will get
a detention for being late or not paying enough attention.

Bring a homebrew if you have one to share. Bring several! No
commercial beers (this is based on state alcohol regs -- extremely
serious, and you *will* get a detention.....) No food either, BTW, that
one's based on state health rules. Rules rules rules abound for
restaurant owners and other public places!

Membership is not a requirement for hanging out with the Tippecanoe
Homebrewers' Circle. (And if you want to become a card-carrying member,
bring $10 or a check.) We welcome homebrewers and those who have an
interest in the hobby, members and non-members. We'd love to see you at
LBC tomorrow no matter what your level of experience is, including zero.

Must be 21 of course, and on the crazy chance that you've never been in
LBC yet, it's 622 Main, Lafayette, also
<http://www.lafayettebrewingco.com/> where Bob Foley's friendly
countenance is still featured. Come in the main entrance, hang a left
and proceed through the west dining area to the door that leads to the
stairs. It might be closed or have a sign that says "homebrewers'
meeting only." Come on up; if necessary tell whoever must know that are
attending the club meeting and the upstairs is reserved for that only.
The upstairs is not open to the public on Mon or Tue, and we are rather
excited to have our first biz-n-ed meeting up there on a week night.

There will a bit of a social time, with membership fees being accepted
and membership cards given (do not be embarrassed to say no thanks right
now) followed by a short business meeting, treasury report, and sign-up
for the email list and BB, sign up for Beer Judge Certification Program
(BJCP) study class and exam (May 22).

Memberships ($10 for year)
Treasury report
Winterfest interest?
Winter Warmer servers needed (members only)
Brew day for 2011 Winter Warmer

Linda
PS DO THE DOODLE poll http://www.doodle.com/mi7akvhfc9dxt56y if you want
to have input on the Feb meeting at Jarrod's.
PPS The upstairs bar will not be open but I believe it will be
acceptable to buy beer at the main floor bar and bring it upstairs. I
will make sure of this and make it clear. Private meetings and events
are commonly scheduled in the upstairs area, and this is probably
handled similarly. We very much appreciate Greg's support of the club
by letting us use this space. (I'm sure hoping they still have the new
"Snow Daze" IPA on tap.)
