Today this email below the dashed line arrived, apparently from 
stephan_89144 at yahoo.com.   It seemed O to pass it along to the email 
list.  Depending on what we call "local," well, these are local, and 
local is good.

Hmm, that gives me an idea.  Jarrod!  It's a build day activity.  I've 
been thinking that what I need is to set about seven 30 ft phone poles 
into the earth this spring.   Four are in a line, 25 ft apart and about 
6 feet from the the 100 ft row of Cascades (25 rhizome sets taken from 
my old house, four feet apart) I planted last spring.  They did well, 
and they will need REAL trellising this sumer instead of binder twine 
leading to a 5' high vineyard trellis wire.  Lets get together at my 
place in March or April and set up some real hops trellises!  (I have no 
plans at this time to go into business, but I have no plans *not* to 
either.

Anybody happen to have some old telephone poles lying around!?
