Not sure if you can taste diacetyl? Wonder why your beer taste like bananas? Taste a band-aid in your beer (well not your own beer of course)? If you are interested in learning what these and other flavors/aromas in your brews may mean, you will want to join the BJCP study group for the beer fault seminar. The seminar is lead by Ron Smith, of the FBI (Foam Blowers of Indiana - http://www.foamblowers.com/ ) . Ron is a very knowledgable judge, home brewer and educator. The seminar will be on the second floor of the LBC on Tuesday March 9th from 6 to 9 pm. The cost of the seminar is $10 per person. Contact Nancy Hartman or Linda Swihart to sign up.
