Ron Smith sent this to FBI list today.  Look at the National second 
round contenders from Indiana and root for their success next week.  And 
if/when you see Ron thank him for all he does for homebrewing in 
Indiana.  He is amazing.

Everyone,

The AHA National Conference and Final Round Competition is next week in 
Oakland, CA. There is a big list of FBI members heading out (see below) 
and there are a lot of National Medal contenders from both the FBI and 
Indiana (see below).

For those of you not going, but who want to know what is going on, sign 
up to follow me on Twitter. I have mixed feelings on this new form of 
social media, but I think it may be pretty cool for something like this. 
Just go to http://twitter.com/beermba <http://twitter.com/beermba> and 
sign up. If you haven't used twitter before, the sign-up is super easy 
and they don't abuse your email address. Tweets can be sent to your 
email address and/or your phone as a text message. Each message can only 
be 140 characters or shorter. If this is cool, then I will set up an 
account for the club when I get back.

For those of you who are going, 3 things:

1) We are dressing up as 1950's era FBI agents for Club Night. Of course 
this is optional, but I know most are going to participate. For the men, 
you just need black pants, a black jacket, black dress shoes, a white 
dress shirt and a skinny black tie (let me know if you need help with a 
tie). White socks help complete the 1950's era dorkiness and adds for a 
nice extra touch. I am shipping the hats and sunglasses to the hotel, 
BUT I need to know how many, so let me know if you need a black fedora 
and Raybans! The women are doing a sexy FBI agent thing or whatever they 
want. My wife, Tracey, has a great outfit she is putting together, so 
feel free to contact her for ideas, etc. (contact info below).

2) Please send me your mobile phones and email addresses so we can stay 
in touch while we are there.

3) I still have a room at the hotel across the street, that I am 
canceling later today. Let me know ASAP if anyone still needs a room.
