[THC] Interest in buying corny kegs

I can probably help on the taking delivery part. I work on campus and
my office is about 50' from the freight elevator leading to the loading
dock of my building. We constantly have pallets of stuff showing up and
there is always someone around to sign off. If you decide to order your
crate of cornies and need a place to drop it, let me know and I will
make sure that no one is going to cry if the package shows up here.

Hi all,
I don't have a tap setup, but I am tired of bottling. A few kegs at a
good price might be just the incentive I need to get the rest of the keg
system! I am thinking that 3-4 kegs would be a good start.
It's 25 kegs to a pallet, and your price sounds right. Raw material
costs have gone up in the last few years so they might be a little more,
but I can't imagine it would be more than $20 each (just a guess). The
biggest issue is that we need someone who can receive freight shipments.

Fellow Homebrewers,
I talked to a few people at the meeting yesterday about how it would be
nice if
we (as a group) could order a crate of corny kegs.
Now, I am not sure how that process works. Who is our connnection...
how we go
about ordering them... etc...
>From what I remember hearing (I believe from Linda), the kegs come out
to cost
about $15 per keg depending on how many lemons come in the crate (I also
remember hearing that it is usually around 10%)... If someone with more
knowledge on the price could affirm or correct my estimate, that would
be
swell...
What I do know is that the first step is to make sure there is enough
documented interest to justify buying a whole crate (I believe a crate
is 25???)
So I am taking the initiative to get that ball rolling. If you are
interested
in purchasing a/some corny keg(s), please reply to me with the number
that you
would like to get. I will then work on finding answers to some of those
earlier questions.
Thanks,
