[THC] it's here! it's here! I'm cutting a hole in the wall!

I went for a little walk with the wire cutters and pruning shears,
making a new path into the "back five," and as I returned toward the
house where Rick and some other guys are playing railroad-building board
games, I saw the UPS truck leaving my driveway.
It's 13" wide and 14" tall, or the other way around, I forget. As soon
as I send this I'm getting the drill and some chisels and moving the
freezerator aside so I can make the opening where the beer lines will go
through the wall.
Come over! Check on the progress, give opinions! Have a beer. Come
over tomorrow or Sunday if you can't come over today. We're having the
multiple day open house thing. Bought new pool cues. Beer will come
through the wall soon!
Bar/pew update: Alan came over and helped me get it started several
nights ago, and Bob Golden gave some great advice before we started.
Then on Dec 31 during the afternoon I spent several hours prying and
knocking it apart. My goal was to get the seat and the curved trim-rail
from the top of the seat-back, and put them together to make the bar.
Major problem is that the curve is not the same, and there is no bending
the trim-rail. Also the seat is *really* badly beat up and cracked.
I'm sure it's over 100 years old and it's badly cracked in too many
places. The wood is dry and brittle and warped... so it looks like the
trim is all that will survive, and the ends if I can figure out how to
incorporate them. They're not particularly fancy but they're kid of
cool. The coolest part of this all is that the monstrous thing is out
of my house finally.
See you soon I hope. If not this weekend then maybe on Jan 24th which
is when the brew day here is.
