Thanks to Jarrod and Stewart and John who came to the rescue. It was
somewhat simple after Rick set up the format. Even without that,
probably one 20-something young man showing off could have picked that
baby up and somewhat gently lowered it into the freezerator.

We have four taps and two are usually commercial beers. We drank all
the recently acquired Two-Hearted in five weeks, with a little help from
the WWOOFers (see WWOOF-USA at <http://www.wwoofusa.org/> if you don't
know what WWOOFers are) and today I had a bit of time on my hands after
work, and went to the Village VBS to order a new keg, and they had a
"special" of Sierra Nevada ESB, half barrel for $64. I think I got the
next to last one. This is $12 less than the Two-Hearted was, and it was
a quarter barrel. (There is a lot "Newcastle Summer Ale" as well, in
half barrels. Doesn't get tremendously good grades at Beer Advocate,
but oh well, I'd have gone for it too but the other three of my taps are
engaged and anyway I don't know about putting two half-barrels in the
beer fridge.)

I'm afraid that a trend has been set now that we know it's not too
terribly difficult to get a half barrel into the chest fridge. Plus, we
see a way to run a track above, and a winch, a la the way John Blichmann
has his set up.

:-)
