Hey Tippy Homebrewers --

Kris Walker of the Bloomington Hp Jockeys is having a brew day at his
house tomorrow Sat Sep 27. His original message (at least two weeks ago)
is pasted below. There has been a lot of list mail about it in the man
time, and it sounds like it's going to be a blast. I wish I could go,
but my weekend will be filled with the Feast of the Hunters' Moon.

The Hop Jockeys want to make sure that all THC people know they'd be
very welcome to show up!

Well maybe not "Ultimate", but it will be swell!

I've been getting a few questions about the brew day so I thought I'd send
out a little info. There will be a reminder closer to the day for all of
you with short term memories J

The event shall be held at my house
(http://www.hopjockeys.org/krishouse.php/). One word of caution, they are
still doing construction on the highway in front of my house so the
situation is changing daily. I will send out an email message the day
before the event IF there is some special circumstances regarding parking
and/or getting to my house.

I have multiple hose outlets, and access to power in the garage (for pumps
and the like). We can run multiple chillers at the same time, so that
shouldn't be a problem unless we get 4 or 5 people trying to chill at
exactly the same time. It didn't happen during the 24 hour brew day, so I'm
not too worried.

If you want to come but don't have everything you need in a portable form,
let me and Ryan know what you might need. We have extra stuff that can be
loaned out. If you want to brew, we can probably pull enough stuff together
so that you can.

I have a 12 tap kegerator, and I'll save a couple taps for guest beers. If
you want to bring a corny of beer, that's great!

Start time will be 9:00 am, you can show up at any time after that. Someone
will be rocking the grill and details about that will be coming.

If you plan on showing up, please let me know so I can do some amount of
capacity planning (parking, food, etc)

If you have any questions, email me and I'll get back with ya.

Thanks,
Kris

PS Even if you don't plan to brew, feel free to come by and hang out. We
usually have a pretty good time, and there will be beer and food! Also, I
haven't brewed for quite a while, so odds are I will screw something up in a
spectacular fashion that you will want to witness. And if you haven't seen
my Sabco in action, it's pretty cool.
