yes, its traditional mead and we racked it again last night (its the 2nd time) and its def turning out nice.....the traditional meade at new day is VERY good....we have tried a few commercially available ones, 2 of olivers and one we got at the village bottle shop, bunratty, which has a stronger flavor, anyways, the house is essentially done....WHEW....we are gonna bottle our current batch of beer soon, its a rasp wheat, so maybe we will be brewing again soon and will invite you all over....*smiles*...thanks for asking
   
  as for the meade we had at your house, the lady i refered to, walked over, and was younger, 30 at best id say, but prob in her 20's (just in case shes reading...LOL)

New Day Meadery in Elwood has a website; I haven't looked at it much 
yet. I hope to see the place some time this summer. 

I don't recall which mead you refer to having at my place, don't recall 
a lot some days! :-)

Did you make yours as a traditional mead, i.e. only honey -- no fruit or 
spices?
