Very cool news and terrible news at the same time.  Personally, and for the
THC's sake, I would prefer it if you would simply move closer to Lafayette and
get a job in the area.  We need you here!  :-)

if you want to be a little more find-able by people who might look there. 

There are arguments both ways, but in general the AHA is what we've got as an
umbrella organization, and they are part of the BA.  It has its troubles at
times, but in general I think they are doing a good job and it's getting better.
 Membership is $38 although if you go to the Upland membership rally on Aug 4th
I think you get it for 33$ and you get all the rally stuff too.

I am kind of bummed that I'm not going to that rally

PLUS the membership gets you Zymurgy magazine, and discounts of various sorts
including on the national conference which is in CINCINNATI in June 2008.  It's
worth more than you pay for it in many ways, even for an old woman who doesn't
get out a lot to use the Pub Discount Program!
